Music in the Park - Organised by Fowey River Lions / Friday 25 June

In aid of the Precious Lives Appeal and other Lions charities. Gates open 5pm, music from 6.30-10.30. Open air music with a selection of local and tribute bands in front of Boconnoc House, bring a picnic. Please also bring your own chairs or rugs. Tickets £15 in advance, £20 on the gate.

Polruan Regatta Day / Monday 30 August

The day includes sailing race, Crowning of the Carnival Queen and Attendants, carnival, disco and much more. Old Coal Wharf and Quay Polruan, (some events in Village Hall, if wet) For information please contact Lynn Bartlett on 01726 870536.

Daphne du Maurier Festival / 13-22 May

The Festival has been a highlight of the cultural year in Cornwall since 1997. It takes place each May in and around the picturesque port of Fowey, on Cornwall’s beautiful south coast. Fowey Royal Regatta / 15-20 August

The Fowey Royal Regatta is hailed by many as one of the best local regattas in the country and is held from 15 - 20 August 2010. Along with daily sailing races there are a number of other themed events mixed into the week including a midweek Carnival, Red Arrows display and ending with a spectacular Firework display over the harbour. www.foweyroyalregatta.co.uk

Fowey Christmas Market / 4-5 December

Conceived in 2005 as a means of encouraging people to do their Christmas shopping in Fowey. Over 70 visiting traders selling quality hand-made crafts and local products are housed in a number of large marquees at the Town Hall and quay.
